Hong Kong Young Writers Awards introducing an exciting new category to our Chinese section of the Awards – Chinese calligraphy.

Instructions from our Judges

In no more than 28 Chinese words, describe a dinosaur you have in mind.
This is the Chinese calligraphy category, judges will look at the content, as well as the aesthetic of the work.
Any of the 5 fonts will be acceptable 楷書、行書、草書、隸書、篆
Submissions have to be written with traditional Chinese calligraphy brush (Máobǐ) and ink and not modern calligraphy pens.
Paper size – not bigger than A3 portrait
